One of the best Modified and Sportsman drivers in the late 50’s and 60’s in the Southeast was Johnny Miller from Kannapolis, NC. Miller had track championships at Hickory, Charlotte Fairgrounds, and Myrtle Beach. Miller also made 2 Grand National starts in 1960. This photo is from the Brian Simpson collection.
