I found this photo on a facebook post a while back. This is Jackie Wilson with the turbocharged 300 CI inline Ford six powered Joe Lawrence #16 coach. Note Jackie is still wearing a military style short haircut. This photo is from very early in 1969, Jackie's first year in a Sportsman/Modified car. The venue is Lebanon Valley and alongside the #16 is the Tom Chewins #108 driven by Dick Hansen. Also pictured is the #6 coupe of Eddie Sangaline. Pitted just inside the front stretch wall is the Godfrey Wenzel #03, now being driven by Bob Tauscher. The iconic Lebanon Valley barn is visible beyond the first turn.
