SCF_772-C #50-A Speedy Thompson coupe {UPDATED}

In 1958 Speedy Thompson from Monroe, NC drove the second Marion Cox entry to a 39th place finish in the annual Modified-Sportsman race on the old Beach course in Daytona. In addition to the # 50-A, Cox also entered the #50 which was driven by Speedy'S brother Jimmy. This photo is from the Nina Cox / Archie Downs collection.
