He was billed as the "Worlds Fastest Physician". The first physician ever to compete in Grand National, Don Tarr made the connections that resulted in him pairing with legendary crew chief and car owner, Ray Fox in 1967, Don set the speed record for qualifying this Dodge Charger at 187.912 mph at the new Alabama International Speedway (Talladega) in 1969.
